Today I am taking yet another road trip to Boston MA! I’m going to a @deanlewismusic concert! I’ve fallen in love with his music this year, and it’s inspired me to illustrate his entire album, one hand drawn, drawing per song. Inspired by the lyrics. I worked super super hard on all these, and I’m really proud of them. I’ll hopefully be giving these pictures to someone, who will then give them to Dean, because of some connections I’ve made. I know it’s going to be a really fun time, and on my way down, I’m going to stop by and see my parabatai @bookishly_magical ! . . . My Dean Lewis drawing is finally finished and framed. Swipe for a view of the drawing without the frame. ➡️ I thought his hair would be a nightmare to draw, but it was nothing compared to the shirt. Anyone else ever got an inflammation of the thumb basal joint from drawing? I feel like that's a new level of ridiculous for me. 😅😂 I quite enjoyed making the passe-partout too. It's the first time I actually "decorated" a passe-partout in any way, but it felt right and the "of the year" thing fits perfectly now that we're just a few days away from 2020.
